Sometimes in the summer days it is nice to hang out indoors. There are many choices of excellent activities in Milwaukee for moments just like this.

• Marcus Center for the Performing Arts: Enjoy a night of the arts at the Marcus Center. This is the home for not only the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, but the Florentine Opera Company, Milwaukee Ballet Company, and Broadway in Milwaukee.

• Milwaukee Public Museum: If the weather outside is too hot, step inside the Milwaukee Public Museum for an experience you will not forget. Exhibits are available that transport you to different parts of the world including Asia, the Arctic, Africa, Central America, South America, and the Costa Rican Rainforest. Check out the world’s largest known dinosaur skull. Then, take a walk amongst butterflies in the Puelicher Butterfly Wing. You will also find a bug exhibit and an IMAX theater inside.
