Maintaining your Roman Shade

Regular dusting will give your roman shades that “new” look for many years to come. Gently dust the shade with a feather duster or a clean rag or cloth. For a deeper, more thorough cleaning it is recommended that you use vacuum cleaner attachments. Gently brush the roman shades with the brush attachment. The type of vacuum cleaner is not crucial, just be sure to use delicate strokes. Occasional spot cleaning is recommended for troublesome stains. Simply damp a soft cloth and gently rub the problem area. You may use a mild detergent if needed but refrain from using harsh abrasive cleaners that might damage the fabric. To remove wrinkles, it is best to use a hand held steamer. Apply the steam directly to the fabric.
