It is wise to begin your registry process at least 4-6 months prior to your wedding date. It is also recommended to occasionally check back on your registry and at least one month before your big day to make sure that you have not run out of items for your guest to purchase as well as to make sure that the items you have chosen are still available and in stock. There is nothing more frustrating to a guest when they go to purchase a gift and find that all the good things have been taken or this is not much left to purchase. It is a smart idea to register for as many items as people that are invited to the wedding.
