Your wedding photographs are something that you as a couple will treasure forever. Make sure you capture the most important wedding memories by selecting the right photographer. You want to make the right choice in choosing a photographer because you will never get a second chance to get these photographs to your liking.

Wedding photographs are a very costly part of the wedding. Take the time to interview several photographers before making a choice. Ask friends, relatives, caterers, wedding planners, and florist for recommendations. Anyone in the wedding business will have seen many photographers at work. Set a realistic budget for the photographs but keep in mind that after the wedding ceremony is over, the wedding photos are the only thing you have to remind you of this special day. Once the flowers have died and the cake is gone, you still have your beautiful wedding photos.

Before selecting a photographer, do your research. Go through as many bridal magazines and wedding albums as possible. Familiarize yourself with the different styles of photos and the shots that you would like to see in your wedding album.

Decide if you only want still shots or do you also want a video of your wedding. Keep in mind that nothing can capture the true mood of the moment, gestures, voices, and loved ones like a video.
