<div><span>&middot;<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span><strong>Lagoon</strong><strong> Amusement Park</strong><strong>:</strong> Lagoon is an amusement park and water park in one. The park is a great way to spend the day in Salt Lake City. Some of the rides for the thrill seekers that Lagoon offers are Cliffhanger, Wildmouse, Fire Dragon, Samurai, and The Rocket. There are also tamer rides for those faint at heart and for the kids such as bumper cars, a merry-go-round, Wild Kingdom Train, and Stagecoach. Lagoon opens in April with limited hours and then opens full time in June. Admission prices are as follows 3yrs and under $19, kids 3 and up $28.95, adults $33.95, and senior citizens $22. Season passes are also available. </div>

There are countless habitats and exhibits inside the zoo as well as train that will take you around the zoo. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12 and senior citizens. Children 2 and under are free. </div>

There are several area resorts that cater to the snow sport enthusiasts. </div>

Red Butte Gardens is apart of the University of Utah and has over 1500 acres. The gardens are home to over 9,000 species of trees and shrubs. </div>

Temple Square was built by the Mormon settlers who founded Salt Lake City. Completely hand built, Temple Square is one of the most beautiful structures in the country. Inside the Tabernacle is the massive hand built 11,000 pipe Tabernacle Organ. The Tabernacle is also home to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. </div>

The Olympic Oval is the site where 10 Olympic and 8 world records were set during the 2002 Winter Games. The Oval is open to the public for open skating as well as lessons in ice skating, speed skating, short track, figure skating, hockey, and curling. Public admission prices are $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and children, and $2 for skate rental. The Oval also has an indoor aerial bungee system; an indoor football arena, indoor soccer field, indoor running track, and indoor lacrosse field all open to the public.
