SAT’s are important but so is your health. There are a number of points you need to remember because while all these tests are vital why spend all that time studying if your mind will forget it all 5 minutes later?
· Get plenty of fresh air, it is highly recommended that for every hour of studying you spend 5 or 10 minutes outdoors just to clear your head
· Don’t skip meals. Many skip all important meals, especially breakfast. This will not help in any way and will have the opposite effect of what anyone wants to achieve. Having a nutritious breakfast will make you feel ready for anything
· Take a break. Another vital factor, if you study for hours on end then you may feel that nothing has been learned. Walk away for a few minutes and it may surprise you just how much information has been absorbed
· Take vitamins. Studying may feel like it is taking up a lot of energy and it is important to make sure that you keep up your required daily intake of vitamins. If not, it can cause tiredness and the feeling of being unable to study at all
Top Tip: If you feel that going out for a walk whilst studying will distract you then the best way to overcome this problem, is to study outdoors. It is solving two problems just by setting everything up in the open.
