The Agricultural Museum, Belmont Mansion, Historic Manskers Station Frontier Life Center, Hermitage (Home of President Andrew Jackson), and the Travellers Rest Plantation and Museum are some other options.
• History Museums. The Lane Motor Museum, Tennessee State Capitol, and the Tennessee State Museum await your visit! For more educational fun on your one to three day vacation, try the Agricultural Museum and the Military History Museum.
• Science and Nature Exhibits. What better way to spend a family vacation than to combine fun and hands-on learning? With the many opportunities in Nashville that focus on Science and Nature, this will be simple to do. Visit the Adventure Science Center, the Nashville Zoo, and the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art; and watch science and nature education become “just fun”!
• Music and Sports Attractions. Most people realize that Nashville is known for its music; after all, it’s Music City, USA. So, in addition to possibly catching a show or two while visiting, you should definitely consider seeing some of the music-related attractions around Nashville. Some examples are the Grand Ole Opry and its museum, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Ryman Auditorium, Texas Troubadour Theatre, Wildhorse Saloon, and Willie Nelson and Friends Showcase Museum. You should also try and make it a point to visit the Tennessee Sport Hall of Fame Museum. While sports haven’t made Nashville quite as famous as its music industry, the attraction is still very well-known and a great experience.
