• Green House Grille – Located on Kingston Pike in the shops at Western Plaza. This dimly lit restaurant is decorated in the style of art deco and they specialize in dishes such as crab cakes Florentine. It is a dressy casual atmosphere and prices range from $8 to $19.
• Baker Peters Jazz Club and Restaurant – Located in west Knoxville in the historic Baker-Peters Mansion. This restaurant and jazz club is a combination of southern charm and a contemporary flare. Relax in the living room where you can enjoy live jazz, spend the evening on the second story patio or dine in one of the intimate dining rooms where they feature dishes such as aged Angus beef or fresh seafood. Dinner prices range from $18 to $35 for entrees.
• Copper Cellar – Located inside the Cumberland Grill on Cumberland Avenue, the Copper Cellar is known for its steaks, roasted prime rib, and cold-water lobster tails. The Copper Cellar offers a wide variety of seafood and nightly specials. Lunch prices range from $7 to $10 and dinners run from $15 to $25 for entrees.
• The Fairbanks Roasting Room – Located in downtown Knoxville, The Fairbanks Roasting Room offers a variety of dishes including vegetarian meals. There is a full-service bar where you can order a drink while you are enjoying the live music offered on weekends and dancing on the marble dance floor. Dinner prices range from $16 to $30 per entrée.
• The American Café – Located in west Knoxville, the American Café offers a melting pot of American dishes from Southern-style Barbecue Ribs to New York Pasta Pie. Don’t miss out on the delectable desserts such as Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie.
• Hawkeye’s Corner – Located in downtown Knoxville, Hawkeye’s Corner was voted The Best Menu in Tennessee in 1996. There is live music beginning at 10 p.m. which you can enjoy after feasting on the Jamaican Jerk Chicken or Filet Mignon. Dinner prices range from $7.49 to $13.99.
• Naple’s Italian Restaurant – Specializes in contemporary Italian cuisine such as duck, chicken, seafood, veal, and pork dishes. With the red checkered tablecloths and Chianti bottles with candles, you will think you are in Italy.
• The Orangery – Dress up for dinner and enjoy a romantic ambience while dining on French and Continental entrees such as Saumon au Crabe et Buerre or Veal Porterhouse. There is an extensive wine list available that was awarded the Wine Spectator’s Best of Excellence Award. Entrée prices average around $35 per entrée which includes choice of soup or Passed Hors’Doevures, salad, desert, tea or coffee. Reservations are suggested.
