Hopefully you will have plenty of time to rest and relax while visiting Charleston and can take your time learning about America’s historic past while walking through old homes and perusing museums. But if you are only going to be passing through and have just a couple of days to take it all in, where should you start? Don’t worry – even though it you’ll only be able to stay a short while, you can still see some of the city’s highlights and get a feel for the Southern charm, romance and intrigue the city has to offer.
If you are staying for just a couple of days and nights, you simply must prioritize the types of things you want to do and see. What is your group going to be interested in? The beach? Nature hikes? Historical tours? Shopping? The list can go on and on, so poll your travel group and then start to prioritize. If you don’t, once you start learning about all there is to do and see in Charleston, you could become overwhelmed quickly.
