You’ve seen some of the parks you can go to, now you need to see some popular mountain areas to see. Again, just like in parks, there may be some restrictions. Check the mountain information bureau for more information.
· Brookdale On-The-Lake, PA: This mountain site is a combination mountain and resort. It offers many types of winter events. After you are done riding your snowmobile, go inside to a nice warm cozy atmosphere, where you can play games or just relax. You will have to call the place first for availability and reservations.
· Ontario, CN: This is known as the Snow Belt because it is always cold and snowy here. If you are looking for plenty of space, this will do it for you. There are over 26,000 miles of trails you can ride. There are also events and shows you can get involved in. You may need a special border pass. Check the City of Ontario to find out if there are any restrictions on going there, like a passport or any other kind of documentation that allows you to cross over.
· Twin Mountain, NH: If you happen to live in New England and live near Twin Mountain in New Hampshire, stop by and check out the great trails for snowmobile riding. It is only two to three and one-half hours from the eastern side of
Massachusetts or the southern tip of Maine. Here is where you will find Garneau’s Garage, a famous place to rent snowmobiles and other kinds of equipment.
· Great Mountain, CN: Here is another great place in Canada that offers plenty of snowmobile riding fun. You have up to seven riding areas, expert guides, and more. Conveniently located in Revelstoke, British Columbia, it is accessible to all. If you do not want to bring your own snowmobile you can always rent one.
