Setting up the grill is the hard part but the enjoyment comes from using it. But here, you have to be careful how you use the grill. Using the grill incorrectly could cause serious injury. Here are some tips to using your grill affectively:
· Using the Grill Wisely: It’s been said that outdoor grills can produce cancer causing substances that go into the food as it cooks. Indoor grills can do the same thing. What can you do to avert this? By simply choosing foods that are low in fat, high in nutrients, and full of flavor. When you cook your food, think about using marinades. These add extra flavor to your meals and cuts down the formation of cancer causing substances that can get on food. A marinade that is made of olive oil or citrus juices is best.
· Prepare Food Properly – Before you cook your food, make sure to trim excess fats from the food. These fats are what can cause trouble later. So be careful.
· Watch How You Cook – When you cook, be very careful and watchful that your food doesn’t overcook. Sometimes what happens is when food cooks too long flare-ups occur. This is caused by the grease getting too hot and burning. If your grill has drainage you may be safe. But be watchful anyway.
