In the sport of Snow Skiing, layering is the name of the game. A base layer of long underwear or under armor material is highly recommended. This base layer will help to trap body heat to stay warm on the slopes. Then a turtleneck or long sleeved T-shirt is suggested next. Next, layer a sweater or sweatshirt over the turtleneck or long sleeved T-shirt. A pair of sweatpants or windbreaker pants would also be a good idea to put on over the long underwear pants. The next layer would be the outer layer, which is the ski jacket (a jacket that is designed specifically for Snow Skiing or to block wind) and ski pants or overalls. These pants are made especially for Snow Skiing and other snow activities. The finishing touches would be gloves underneath ski gloves, a pair of heavy or wool socks to keep feet warm, ear warmers or a beanie, ski goggles or sunglasses, and finally a ski mask is suggested to keep the bottom half of the face warm, however, it is not necessary.
