After you have mastered snorkeling through crystal clear waters, you might want to try a different experience – snorkeling at night! This gives you a chance to view nocturnal sea creatures that you cannot see during the day. To snorkel at night, pick a location that you are already familiar with so you will not bump into any unexpected structure. Also, carry an underwater flashlight with you. These can be found at most dive shops. You will also want a chemical light that straps around your waist that will help alert boaters of your presence. These one-time use lights glow for several hours.
