Scuba Diving Associations

PADI is a well-known scuba association and has been around for almost 40 years. They issue over 850,000 certifications a year and have certified over 10 million divers since their start in 1967. They offer a wide range of courses from beginner to advanced.

NAUI is also a world-renowned association of instructors that is best known for the NAUI Dive Tables. They set the bar high for other scuba instructors and are known for their challenging curriculum, which is more complete than some of the others. A NAUI certified diving instructor is will offer you the best possible training.

SSI has been around for over 35 years. They offer school-based diving instruction and their SSI certification card is accepted at all dive shops for rentals or diving packages.

PDIC is another professional training association that offers a variety of certifications from open water to advanced instructor.
