Air Radio System For Your Helicopter

You can’t fly a remote controlled helicopter without the radio controller system. Otherwise, your helicopter will stay grounded. What kind of radio system works with helicopters? In this case, the best choice is an air radio system. In order for you to know about these systems, it would be good for you to know what they come with. Here is a break down:

·        Transmitter: This is actually the hand-held controller. This is what sends the signals to the vehicle.
·        Receiver: The part that is in the helicopter is the receiver. This is what receives the signal and converts it into the proper electrical signals to allow the servos to work. It works the same as your car radio except it receives commands instead of music.
·        Servo: This is the electromechanical device that moves the control surfaces on the helicopter.
·        Batteries: Obviously, without batteries, no system would work. The air radio controller uses AA batteries to operate it, if it is a two to three channel system. If it is a four or higher channel system, it will use NiCd rechargeable battery packs.

Having a remote controlled helicopter is a lot of fun that you and your child will enjoy flying as long as you understand the helicopter’s make up and design, as well as how the controller works. It may be frustrating to learn at first. However, with some practice you’ll be flying and enjoying it in no time.
