It is very uncommon but it has been known that RC planes have been responsible for accidents/deaths throughout the world.

It does seem unlikely and it is, but it has happened. Many people are unaware but when travelling at high speed, if a plane were to strike someone in the back of the head then this could cause extreme damage to the brain.

Always take care and make sure you can handle any equipment properly. It is best to look for a more secluded area until you are absolutely certain you can handle your plane without causing any unnecessary problems.

Until a beginner has familiarised him/herself with the equipment, it is highly suggested that a sensible adult is observing at all times. Minor accidents can occur such as cut fingers/hands from rotors powering the plane and should the worst happen, someone is available to deal with any potential problem that could and sometimes will arise.
