The Herbie Clip

If you looked at all the other clamps, you may not have considered this special clamp known as the Herbie Clip. It is a double grip hose clamp that has double row of interlocking teeth. Once it is tightened it is secure. No more leaks. It is made of nylon and polypropylene. Here is a brief run down of the clamp:

 

·        With the double row of interlocking teeth, it has twice the strength of regular single toothed clamps.  

·        It has no moving parts.

·        Once it is tightened down it is secure. It will not give.

·        It cannot rust or corrode and other metal type clamps can. It is resistant to all kinds of chemicals including fuels, oils, solvents, and grease.

·        It is resistant to high temperature.

·        Once sealed it will not break even under pressure of 200psi.

·        It is fast to install and safe to use. There are no sharp edges since it is not made of metal.

 

The Herbie Clip comes in sizes from A to 163. All you do is wrap the Herbie Clip around the hose, tighten by hand until it can’t go any further. There is a special tool you can use to tighten it down further. If you ever wanted to remove it, there is a tool on the market that removes it for you with no hassles.
