As explained above, there are many types of clamps available on the market, you just have to look around and choose the one that fits your needs and application. Here are just a few that you may find available:
· Miniature Clamps: This clamp will go into hard to reach places. It will also hold up under 15 pounds of pressure per inch. It comes in a 5/16 inch band. It comes in various sizes from 7/32 inches to 2-3/4 inches.
· Power-Seal Clamps: This is a general purpose auto and industrial clamp. It is very strong and has strong sealing pressure resistance. It has a ½ inch band and comes in three types: 62000 series (standard applications), 63000 series (marine and underground use), and 64000 series (outdoor and fresh water).
· Aero-Seal Clamps: This clamp is made mainly for industrial and aircraft applications because of its heavy-duty; four piece Quadra-Lock construction. It has a wider band of 9/16” inch band. This to comes in three types: 100 series (standard use), 200 series (outdoor and fresh water use), and 300 series (marine use).
· Euro-Seal Clamps: This worm-gear clamp offers high strength and gives high performance every time. The embossed design allows the clamp to fasten more securely for better hose protection. It comes in three types: 72000 series (standard uses), 73000 series (outdoor use), 76000 series (underground, industrial, and salt water uses).
· Hi-Torque Clamps: This worm-gear can withstand more than four times the standard torque of standard worm-drive clamps. It is made of 300 series stainless steel in the band and is wide and thicker than the average clamp.
· Constant Torque Clamps: This is different from other clamps in that it will react to changes in the hose and adjusts accordingly. Unlike other clamps that are passive and doubt change as the hose expands or contracts when heat and cold water runs through it. This one does change. This makes it ideal to seal the end of the hose and will prevent leaks.
