How to Fix Typical Bathroom Faucets

The biggest problem with faucets is the washers wear out. The washer, seal, or O-ring becomes worn and leaks. At this point it is time for a replacement. If you replace the washer, seal, or O-ring, shut off the water first. Or else you will have water shooting everywhere. Unscrew the screw in the handle and remove the handle. Take the escutcheon cap off. This should expose the washers. Replace the washers and replace what you just took off.
