A Kentucky woman is feeding the large rats taking over her neighborhood, and her neighbors are not happy.

Ann Collier leaves dog food for the pests that she calls pets.

Collier said she feeds the rats "so they don't bite me and get all over me."

I've got another idea for keeping them from "biting and getting all over" - Bash them in the face with a hammer or poison them. I'm kidding, but letting an animal go its own way and actively harboring the spread of a rodent known for dispersing - Oh, I don't know - the Black Plague is probably not the smartest idea in the world.

I think this woman should be allowed to have rats in her own yard, considering there isn't a law against it. But the second they cross over in to someone else's lawn...get the flame-thrower.
