Home » Peru » Peru 7 Day Itinerary » Day Three• There are many great beaches that can be found throughout Peru but for one with blue oceans, sandy beaches and a tropical paradise then you must visit the Punta Sal beach near Tumbes. Here you can either just sit back and catch some rays or be a little bit more active and swim in the ocean. Within the surrounding area, you will find a variety of shops and restaurants for you to try and if you decide to take a stroll away from the beach then these amenities are just a short walk from the location of Punta Sal.
When on holiday you may want to keep up the trend of traditional cuisine then one of the best and highly restaurants you must visit is Brujas de Cachiche in Miraflores. The restaurant is well decorated within the traditional style of the region and whilst dining you are treated to a range of Peruvian music which makes a really great atmosphere.
The selection within the restaurant is amazing and with traditional Peruvian cuisine being served, you have the cold of meals ranging from varieties of seafood/fish, to pastas and stews and if you can save room, there is a good selection of desserts. One choice on the menu is the Pato Al Aji (Chilly Duck) which is served with beans in a carob-tree honey sauce but if you prefer something slightly different then why not try the Olluquito Con Charqui (Andean Tuber Stew with Jerky) which has been cooked with mild yellow chilly and topped with Andean herbs.
Vegetarians needn’t worry throughout because the restaurant also offers a range of salads and rice that can accompany a great meal and with prices ranging from $20 for a main course and $15 for a dessert if you have the room. It may seem slightly on the expensive side but you are getting a generous portion and most importantly, it is traditional and tasty.
