·        Double Breasted with Tie
This is probably the most common type of bathrobe available. Double breasted styles can be found in long and short lengths and are normally designed with a sash that ties to secure it in place. They can be made from a wide range of materials which allows them to be used to keep warm during cold weather or simply for a cover up when it is warm.
·        Towel Wrap
Towels wraps have become a popular choice for many consumers. The idea came from something that individuals often do when they hop out of the shower or bathtub. Towel wraps work just like a towel does if you wrap it around your body and tuck in the edges. Towel wraps can fasten with Velcro, buttons, snaps, or ties rather than just tucking in the edge of the towel. The closures allow the wrap to remain securely in place which permits you put on make up, do household chores, or get ready for the day while in the comfort of your towel wrap. They are easy to put on after you bathe, shower, swim, or spend the day at the beach. They are enjoyed by many because they are fashionable yet simple to put on and take off of your body as desired. Towel wraps are an excellent “cover up” for men, women, teens, and children. They can be used in the home, while on vacation, in the dorm, or on the beach. Towel wraps intended for males attach at the waist and fall just above the knee. Towel wraps designed for females are larger, fasten underneath the arms, and typically hit just above the knees. They are available in a variety of sizes, colors, fabrics, and styles to fit any personality.
·        Zip or Button Up
If you are in search for a robe that you can step into and securely fasten without tying a sash, then this might just be the type you need. Zip up and or button up robes can be made from a variety of different materials, just as any robe can. A zip up robe is secured in place by a zipper that zips up the front or side of the robe. A button up robe can have buttons or snaps that fasten it in place. These robes are sometimes less difficult to wear simply because there is no tie to deal with and once they are clasped they remain in place. This style robe comes in a multitude of colors, fabrics, styles, and designs. They are often times available with designs and appliqués on them which make them a fun choice for any individual.
