Lipstick is the most used beauty product. Lipstick can be found in tubes, pots, and pencils. There is an enormous selection of lip colors from which you can choose in frost, matte, and cream. Lip gloss is another choice which has again become very popular among women. Lining the lips with a lip pencil gives them definition and perfects the lines of the lips. There is a lot of debate over which comes first, the liner or the lipstick. Try both ways to determine which works best for you. Do not use a darker lip liner than lipstick as this look is very outdated.
Lipstick stored in the refrigerator will last longer. To keep lipstick off of your teeth; after applying it to your lips, put your index finger into your mouth and pull it back out through closed lips. This removes any excess lipstick from your lips onto your finger. If your lipstick breaks, remove the broken piece with a tissue, slowly wave a lit match under the broken piece until it begins to melt. Put it back on the base, swivel down and place in the refrigerator uncovered for five minutes.
When applying lipstick, coat the lips evenly while being careful to stay inside the edges of your lips. Blot your lips to remove any excess color and even the texture.
