What requirements are expected of a pool owner?

When it comes to pool safety, there are a few items that are best kept to hand in case they are required. If anyone has an accident then these are the best options to help save lives and get emergency services to attend quickly (if required) without risking lives even more by possible delays.

 

·        Keep a phone available at all times

·        Have life rings close by

·        Ideally as the owner, it would be your responsibility to learn the basic and possibly advanced lifesaving skills such as CPR for example. Your local swimming pool may do such courses for a minimal cost
