Storing chemicals properly

Home » Outdoor Living » Pools » Storing chemicals properly

The main responsibility of a pool owner is to make sure chemicals such as chlorine are being stored within proper regulations.

It is a fact that many people do not store the required chemicals appropriately and whilst they want to be responsible there is a lot more that can be done to ensure everyone’s safety.

·        Only keep essential chemicals required to clean and maintain your pool
·        Ensure that safety goggles and gloves are used at all times
·        Keep all chemicals out of reach of children because they have the same effect as household items like bleach if swallowed

Top Tip: Should the worst happen and your child/children do swallow any chemicals then contact emergency services immediately and ensure that you take the bottle with you so doctors can identify treatment for any symptoms that may appear.
