The one thing I think about when dining in Portland is fresh! Fresh ingredients are key in this Northwest city. The region’s best seafood, berries, pears, cherries, hazelnuts, wild game, and vegetables of all kinds inspire creative chefs in this area to create culinary masterpieces. The seafood is delectable and when I traveled to Portland, this was my absolute favorite part of dining out – the fresh Northwest seafood! Portland has also become well known for its proliferation of microbrews and many wineries are within an hour’s drive as well. Needless to say, there’s no shortage of wonderful places to eat (and drink) in Portland. Check out the following restaurants if you want to experience the best of Portland.
