The key is to look for the low ratio of complaints filed compared to the number of moves the company has provided.
Make sure the commercial moving company is licensed by state or federal agencies that have basic qualifications for moving companies. Commercial moving companies are required to provide a limited liability coverage insurance that will not cost anything additional to the actual cost of moving. The commercial moving company can provide additional insurance by charging a premium that is comparable to the amount asked for.
