As you prepare to use your crib, read all of the directions thoroughly for set up, use and care.


When finding the right place for the crib in the nursery, keep the crib away from windows where cords from blinds or draperies are hanging. It is easy for curious babies to get caught in these cords.


Once you are safely ready to place baby in the crib, remember to never leave the sides of the crib in the dropped position.


Don’t only ensure that your crib is being used in the safest way possible, but take the time to inspect other cribs that your baby could be using such as cribs at the grandparent’s house, a daycare or at a babysitter’s house.
