Homes in Charlotte range from single family residences to condos and town houses. Real estate is available at all price ranges in several areas of the city. Listed below is a listing of the price ranges you will find in Charlotte:

 

·        $100,000-$200,000: This price range has a large amount of both newer homes as well as older homes. The homes are single family residences, condos, and town houses. Typically the square footage ranges from 970 sq. ft. to 1800 sq. ft. The bedrooms in these homes range from 2 to 4 and the number of baths are between 2 and 3.

·        $200,000-$300,000: Homes in this price range are on average of 5 to 7 years old. Condo style homes are also available in this price range. Square footage can range from 954 sq. ft. to 2900 sq. ft. and have 2 to 4 bedrooms and 2 to 3.5 baths.

·        $300,000-$500,000: The homes available in this price range have between 2 and 4 baths and 2 to 5 bedrooms. Square footage is between 1700 sq. ft. and 4200 sq. ft. You can find several newly constructed homes or homes that are currently being built as well as existing homes some that date back to the early 1900’s. Condo’s and town houses are also available in this price range. Some of which are located in beautiful high rise buildings.

·        $500,000-$800,000: The homes you will find in this price range are located in some of the most affluent neighborhoods in Charlotte. There are several new neighborhoods with new homes and homes 10 to 15 years old. There are also homes that date back to the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Town homes and condo style homes in this price range are located in exclusive buildings and have excellent amenities. Square footage for homes in this price range is between 2700 sq. ft. and 5400 sq. ft. These homes have between 3 and 6 bedrooms and 3 and 5 baths.

·        $800,000-$1 Million: This price range is full of single family homes, condos, and town houses that are located in some of Charlotte’s nicest neighborhoods. Square footage ranges from 2800 sq. ft. to 6580 sq. ft. These homes have between 3 and 6 bedrooms and 3 and 6 baths. A large number of these homes are new or were constructed with in the last 20 years however there are also homes that are 50+ years old in this price range.
