Charlotte’s airport the Charlotte Douglas International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the country and is a major hub for American Airlines, US Airways, Delta, Northwest, and Continental. The city also has a local mass transit system that includes trolleys, buses, shuttles, light rail system, and community rail network. Amtrak also has trains that connect Charlotte directly with cities like Baltimore, Richmond, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and New York City. Charlotte also has two major interstates I-85 and I-77 that run threw it making it a great central location between the northern and southern states.
