Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina with a population of more than 1,474,000 people. The Charlotte Metropolitan Area which is made up of Charlotte, Gastonia, and Concord has the nickname of Queen City and is the 37th largest populated metropolitan area in the United States.

Charlotte has many unique attributes that are responsible for bringing visitors to the city each year. The city offers several attractions such as professional sporting teams, amusement parks, historical sites, golf courses, museums, and shopping. People are also drawn to the area to relocate which has sparked a growing trend making Charlotte one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

Aside from being a quickly growing area, Charlotte is also the second largest banking center city in America. A fact that has also added to the growth the city is experiencing. The city has the second highest amount of assets only behind New York City.
