To have a successful fundraiser, it must be well-planned and enjoyable for the participants. The following are some basic thoughts to consider before beginning your venture:
• What is the time frame you are looking at for starting and ending your fundraiser?
• How much time are you willing to spend to make your fundraiser a success?
• How much money does your group need to bring in?
• How many participants do you estimate will be involved in your fundraiser?
• Do you or these participants have experience in fundraisers?
• Does your group have more than one fundraiser per year?
• Do you have the same fundraisers each year?
• Have your fundraisers in the past been successful?
