Cycling footwear is one of the main ingredients to a healthy riding experience. Shoes may seem like an after-thought to some people, but the reality is they are important for safety, efficiency, and power. Depending on your intentions, shoes will play a major role in your growth in the sport of cycling. Be sure to inquire at your local bike shop about pedal and shoe options for your bike. Most local bike shops will be happy to sell you the right shoe for the right bike.
