Select motorcycle boots that at least cover your ankles. This has two advantages (1) your ankle is protected (2) and your foot becomes stronger and thus better able to handle anything the bike wants to do (e.g. tip over, slide away from you and onto your foot, and burn your feet.

Secondly and most importantly, boots are an essential aspect or motorcycle safety. Boots should be grease and oil resistant, which adds to their traction, they should be made of tough, durable and waterproof leather to assist ankle and foots support and protect in the occurrence of an accident.
