Well isn't that nice: Celebrities including Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt, Laurence Fishburne, and Ben Affleck have donated their fancy-pants custom motorcycles in an online charity auction to benefit a planned memorial in Washington for the late, great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Freeman, who organized the memorial as a tribute, also managed to wrangle some wedge-heeled shoes designed and autographed (!) by Jennifer Lopez and a signed DVD by Tom Hanks.

A good cause, but mostly I'm imagining what it would be like to have an extra motorcycle laying around the house that you can throw to charity when your philanthropic friend comes around with his guilt trips.
