Nice to see some positive, proactive action once in a while.

Several groups hoping to quell violence in the city are hosting a "Peace in the Streets" motorcycle ride next week.

"Bikers bring attention, with that we can bring awareness," said an announcement from the Christamore House community center, one of the sponsors.

"The goal is to bring back the peace."
