BMW reported this week it was recalling 90,000 motorcycles after finding a problem with the adjustment of their anti-lock brakes. The Boxer and K models were affected with the problem. It isn't yet clear if the motorcycles had been sold somewhere or if any accidents prompted the recall.
BMW also said the problem would not manifest itself in normal use of the motorcycles, and that customers can have the repairs done at no cost in about two hours. Isn't that nice?
Now that's how you do a recall!
