Harley-Davidson has just released its first quarter results - and the results are good.
Q1 reports indicate that the motorcycle giant has shown an 11% growth in earnings per share this quarter, helped by a stronger demand for motorcycles in the U.S. and overseas.
Harley plans to ship 78,000 motorcycles of 2006 model year. Production plan in the second quarter included approximately 13,000 new models for 2007 to be introduced in mid July. The company expects to ship these 2007 model motorcycles after the third quarter.
That's a lot of new bikes!
