Be good to your biker: Don't kill him

Alright, whether or not you live in Idaho, this is pretty dang pertinent.

Today's accidents remind drivers of the need to be alert on east Idaho roads, especially when it comes to motorcycles.

Bikes begin returning to the road this time of the year as the days get warmer.

Unfortunately, police also see a rise in the number of accidents.

The Idaho Falls Police Department says they've dealt with a number of motorcycle fatalities over the years.

Patrolman Brent Guymon believes if people would slow down and eliminate distractions, they could easily prevent a collision.

I'd have to respond with the standard "duh" to Patrolman Guymon's comment. But seriously folks, the biker whose life you save today by not using your cell phone on the interstate may be the biker who saves your life in a bar-fight tomorrow.
