James Stewart (the motorcross guy, not that "Wonderful Life" actor) recently won his 3rd consecutive AMA Supercross Championship on Saturday in Houston. Stewart has now tied the Kawasaki star level with Ricky Carmichael at the height of the world championship standings.

Stewart's team member Michael Byrne also came away with some spoils - $1,500 in prize money for 2nd place, and Suzuki-riding Carmichael 3rd.

Stewart dominated the race for all 20 laps, and looks poised to pull ahead of Carmichael for the lead in the overall championships.
