Independence currently many homes on the market to choose from. Prices have been pretty average and have stayed level over the past months. Independence features both historical homes that have been well- preserved and newer homes that have been built recently.
2. Riverview/Bellefontaine
This suburban area has listings for homes ranging around the upper $100s with the average single family being priced in the upper $90s.
For the months of January and February 2006, sales remained constant.
3. Lee’s Summit
Lee's Summit has a strong market with lots of homes moving all the time. Buyers seek this area out to live and raise their families, or to downsize to a less busy location. Lee’s Summit offers city life with a small town feel. Buyers will find a broad range of homes styles from old to new. Lee’s Summit offers one of the best-rated school districts in the area.
4. Liberty
Liberty has been called a buyers market like most of the Kansas City area. Buyers have a lot of choices and have great odds at getting the sellers to negotiate off the listing price. A lot of new construction is continuing in the Northland area as well.
5. Raymore
Raymore has experienced a lot of new construction by those wanting to slow down their life a little and move outside of the city. Raymore is conveniently located close to 71 Highway. It provides the feel of a country setting nestled just outside of the big city that many home buyers are looking for. There are still many homes with land or empty pieces of land to build.
