·        Planes—There are five airports within several hundred miles of Branson:
o       Springfield/Branson Regional Airport—One hour away; Shuttle service and rental cars are available.
o       St. Louis Lambert Airport—Two hours away; Four lane interstate to Branson.
o       Kansas City International Airport—Two hours away; Some two lane roads on the way to Branson.
o       Tulsa International Airport, OK—Slightly closer to Branson than Kansas City or St. Louis, but more expensive.
o       Northwest Arkansas Airport—Two and a half hours away; Scenic countryside drive into Branson.
 
·        Trains—Amtrak runs a line from Chicago to Kansas City with ten stops between St. Louis and Kansas City. Not all trains stop at all stops, so do some research to find when, where, and the price differences between each stop and also to find out if rental cars are available into Branson.
 
·        Automobiles—Auto travel is the primary source of getting around in Branson. Even if you take a plane or train to the nearest station, you will probably want a car to negotiate your way around Branson while you visit.
 
·        Tour Bus Option—There are bus groups that travel into Branson which would be an option to get you all the way into the town, but it might limit you as far as being able to choose what you do, as you are bound to go where the group goes. Do some research on the options available. You just may find one that suits all your needs for your trip to Branson.
