» Three Day Trip to Branson
If you have three days to spend in Branson, you can enjoy all Branson has to offer at a slightly less frenetic pace than a one-day trip could involve, though you are certainly free to go as full throttle as you wish. If you are a “pack in as much as possible” kind of vacationer, you could mix and match any three of the one day options to round out your Branson experience. If you prefer to space things out a bit more and go at a more leisurely pace, then here are two other options for you:
Option One—
- Day One: Get your bearings of Ozark country by taking the “Slice of the Ozarks Sightseeing Tour” which is a three-hour tour of the Branson and Tri Lakes Area. After enjoying lunch in one of Branson’s many restaurants, your group may appreciate a rest back at your hotel or condo, or perhaps you are ready to go again. If this is the case, head over to the “The Shepherd of the Hills” Homestead to see the original home of the people the main characters in the book are based off of. After that, attend the outdoor theatrical production of “The Shepherd of the Hills” play.
- Day Two: Make today a Silver Dollar City day. By spending your day at Silver Dollar City, you will experience the best of Branson in one location including rides, shopping, late 19th century craftsmen, and even musical shows.
- Day Three: On your last day in Branson, your family might enjoy the Buck Trent’s Breakfast Show in the morning. After that consider “riding the ducks” by way of an 80 minute land and water tour of Branson and Table Rock Lake. In the evening take your choice from one of Branson’s many nighttime musical productions.
Option Two—
· Day One: Experience the best of outdoor Branson by touring Marvel Cave during the morning, spending an afternoon on Table Rock Lake in the afternoon
boating and swimming, and follow it up with Showboat Branson Belle Riverboat dinner cruise and show in the evening.
· Day Two: The Branson Scenic Railway offers tours of the Ozark area in authentic transportation style. This would provide a lovely start to your second day in Branson. In the afternoon, your group might enjoy exploring the many shopping venues the area has to offer, followed by one of Branson’s fabulous shows in the evening.
· Day Three: Perhaps your group would like to experience a more educational side of Branson today. Begin by going to The Butterfly Place to experience more than 2,000 butterflies of over 50 species. In the afternoon, visit the American Presidential Museum and/or the Veteran’s Memorial Museum, and close out your trip by experiencing Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show.
