After a bite for lunch, drive past the picturesque lakes in the Minneapolis Parkway System and enjoy the scenery at Minenehaha Falls. The City of Minneapolis Parkway System was developed over 100 years ago and has evolved to include thousands of acres of land and water, 39 miles of walking paths, 38 miles of off-street bicycle and skating paths and approximately 50 miles of parkways. Minnehaha Falls, named by famous poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, is 53-feet tall! Enjoy a picnic lunch at the park and see the other sites that are connected with Minnehaha Falls.
