When these parts come out there has to be a way to remove all the excess that surrounds the parts after they have been developed. Some machines cut off the excess. But this sometimes causes nicks in the actual part that could be left unseen. There is a better way to do this. It is by use of EDM. EDM has an interesting way of removing excess debris from made parts. Here are two attributes of EDM:
• EDM system: The EDM system is very unique by the way it works. It uses a shaped tool or wire electrode and the part. The part is connected to a power supply.
• Cutting pattern: The cutting pattern used to produce the part is mainly CNC (computer numerical control) controlled. This is a machine that is controlled by a computer module that takes is pre-programmed.
