The wonderful thing about lamps is that there are beautiful lamps in every price range. Choosing a lamp is about personal style and preference. Prices ranges for lamps span from $20 to $6000. So you really have the upper hand when it comes to shopping for one. You can spend a fortune on a lamp that you plan to use as a significant decorating piece in your home. Or you can spend a smaller amount on a lamp that will be used as an accent piece.

 

·        Desk Lamps: For the most part desk lamps are lower in price than table or floor lamps. Although you can find them costing in upwards of $800. Generally though you can find quality desk lamps in the price range of $40 to $200. You can find desk lamps in several styles such as: swing arm style that enables you to move the light from side to side, balanced arm style in which you can move the light up and down, and also stationary where the lamp does not move.

·        Table Lamps: The price range for table lamps is anywhere from $30 to $4,000. Table lamps come in many shapes and styles. You can purchase unique, contemporary, traditional, casual, or transitional lamps.

·        Floor Lamps: When purchasing a floor lamp the prices can start at as low as $20 and go all the way up to $6000. Floor lamps can also be seen as a piece of furniture.
