You bought the fluorescent lighting system you like. You get it home. Now you want to install it. If the store does not provide this option for you here are some tips on doing it yourself:
 
·        Shut off the power first. You wouldn’t want to get shocked when dealing with the wires.  
·        Take down the old fixture. Take one of the knockouts in the fixture and bring the wires through it.  
·        Attach the fixture to the ceiling with screws provided, making sure the screws go into the joists.
·        Splice the wires to the incoming wires as per the diagram that came with the fixture. Then attach the cover plate.
