One of the most important things to know about starting a Vegetable Garden is knowing when to plant the vegetables.
Most vegetables need to be planted at the end of winter. However, most seeds will not germinate well until the soil warms up to 60 degrees. If the soil is too cold, it could slow the germination process or even rot the seeds.
The exact dates for planting each type of vegetable vary depending upon where you live. For the exact time to plant your vegetable, check the back of the seed packet for more information. Remember, not every vegetable should be planted at the same time. Some need to be planted in warmer temperatures then others.
