A tree service is a company that will assist the homeowner or business owner in various related services related to trees. Generally a tree service does have anything to do with planting trees. If one is interested in having some trees planted then calling a landscaper or professional gardener is recommended. 

 

A tree service company is capable of cutting down unwanted trees of any size. Not only will they cut down unwanted trees but they will also thin out older trees, and cut out areas for power lines to go through as well. A tree service will also offer stump grinding. Stump grinding is necessary if a tree has been cut down and there is a stump left in middle of the yard. Instead of having to mow around the stump or having other plants or saplings grow around the stump it is best to have the stump removed. Grinding the stump does not necessarily remove the stump; it really depends on the size of the tree. Grinding the stump will provide the homeowner with the opportunity to cover the stump with soil and plant grass over top of it. Over time the stump will decay and become part of the soil. 

 

Tree companies are the clear choice in regards to spraying trees for disease and bugs. It is recommended that a homeowner be careful to hire tree companies that have obtained the required licensing for the application of any pesticides.
