Unless you can unlock certain Zen secrets that enable one to move and produce like machines then typically power equipment will get the job done faster. Whether the job is done better depends on the operator. There is no doubt that a homeowner with the right amount of time and patience could use a hose and spray nozzle and scrub-brush and do a terrific job cleaning the siding on the house. However, if one were to rent or purchase a pressure washer the job would certainly be done faster and more thorough. A hose and spray nozzle cannot match a pressure washer in terms of deep cleaning and speed of cleaning.
A few years ago pressure washer were super expensive, but with the rising of retail giants The Home Depot and Lowes a homeowner can purchase a pressure washer that will do the job efficiently and safely.
The job a log-splitter or wood-chipper will do to felled trees is unmatchable. Obviously if a homeowner enjoys splitting wood or burning brush then there is always an alternative. However, at the end of the day a log-splitter will easily split twice as much wood as one or two men.
